Seek the Lord

One thing have i desired of the LORD, that will i seek after; that i may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to enquire in his temple.

Psalm 27:4

Instead of chasing after riches, wealth etc, let's seek after the kingdom of God and as our heart desires matches with God's, everything else will fall into place and we will not want for anything as the king of Glory supplies all our needs..

God corrects us

For his anger endureth but a moment: in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Psalm 30:5

 We all want blessings from God but we don't want corrections but it is said that "a father only corrects a child He loves" so even as we welcome His blessings, let's welcome His corrections also 'cos it's better to get His punishment with love than for Him to place us in our enemies hands. Besides, His corrections last but for a while and His Love is everlasting : -)

Praise God always

Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.
Psalm 71:8

It's easy to thank God when everything is going on fine, but when things don't go our way, we choose to dwell on the problems, instead, we could thank God believing all is well.
Praise God always in good times and bad times even though it's not so easy. Stay blessed!

Patience

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy
James 5:11

Patience is a great virtue that is sometimes difficult to demonstrate, but if we are able to endure or wait, the outcome is always great. Just like how God blessed Job in double folds after he endured his trial patiently, so also He'll bless us even more only if we are patient enough to behold it.

The LORD of Peace

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
2 Thessalonian 3:6

The peace of God is the greatest gift of all, even greater than any riches we could ever think of. It's all a waste to have everything but not peace. As we serve The LORD of peace, may His peace reign supreme in our hearts now and forever more.

God can move that mountain

Then he answered and spake unto me,saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit saith the Lord of hosts.

Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
Zechariah 4:6-7

The earlier we realize that nothing is by our power and commit everything in God's hands, the more things will work out fine. No matter how small a problem is, even the ones we know we can handle on our own, if we place it in God's hands, it gets solved beyond our imagination. And if we learn to place small things in His hands, we automatically place big ones also.
It's not by power nor by might but by The Spirit of God, any mountain in front of us shall be removed.

God's forgiveness

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
1 John 1:9

Sometimes when we sin, we feel so filthy and tend to believe we are not worthy of God's forgiveness, but this is nothing but the devil's lie. God is always ready to forgive us, He is always waiting for us with open arms. Though, this grace does not mean we should abound in sin, still when ever we go wrong, we can always go back and ask for forgiveness and God is always faithful to forgive, no matter how great we think our offense is.

Faith

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1


In the world seeing is believing but in Christendom, Believing is Seeing, U have to believe then u shall receive. As simple as this sounds, it's sometimes the most difficult task to do but we just need to remind ourselves that He that lives in us is greater than he that is in the world and with Him nothing at all, is impossible. He has done it before and He will do even more greater things again. Keep Believing.

Be Discerning

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1 john 4:1

There are lots of evangelists, preachers and all sort who camouflage in the name of God, it is good to have a shepherd and to look up to but instead of focusing on them, why don't we focus more directly on God and also we should ask for a discerning spirit so as not to get swayed by these wolves in sheep's clothing. May God keep us safe and may His judgment arise on those deceiving His people.

Happy Valentine's Day

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

The greatest love of all is the Love of God towards us and the Love of the Son towards His father and towards us.
'Cos if the son doesn't love His father, He wouldn't follow through with the sacrifice and if He doesn't love us, He wouldn't give Himself for the sacrifice knowing we are sinners and He without blemish. As we celebrate this valentine's day, y don't we spend our day thinking of the father and His Son's unconditional towards us.
He died so that we might live, He was beaten and by His stripes we are healed. He's the unfailing unconditional Love of God to us.

Porter's Hands

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

Like a clay in a porter's hands, so we are in the Hands of God, if we stay rooted in God, He'll continually shape us and make sure we have no blemish or smudges, but if we choose to stand on our own. we will fail, get smudge or get smudge or get heavily damage, but in Him we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us.

Our Service

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58

Being a believer is not a part time job where u serve God only when it suits, u are to serve Him always. Even as His steadfast love never cease, so also service should be to Him. And the joy of it all is that our service is never in vain, no matter how insignificant we think it is, it's always significant to Him. May the LORD continually help us to do good works for His Glory.

It's all for good

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Roman 8:28

The above verse is one of my favorites, it reminds us that as long as we are under God's canopy, everything will always work out for out good regardless of how bad the situation may look to us or to others, it's also not just about reciting the verse, it has lot to do with faith,we need to believe it when we say it and remove all fear that may be lurking in our hearts. Yea, all things will work together for our good as long as we are with God, don't look at that mountain standing in ur way, it will def become a valley tomo, only if u believe!

God's Grace

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will i rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9

God did not promise us His grace alone, He also promised us His strength, can u imagine having the strength of the creator of the whole universe when u are weak, definitely no weakness can beat that if we don't allow it, which is y the Bible says I'll not tempt u beyond ur capacity. Whatever we may go through in any aspect of our lives, we should just remember:

1) There is no promotion without examination
2) God's grace and strength will be with us through it all...


May the Grace of God remain with us all the days of our lives and His strength when we are weak.

Peace

Peace i leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth,give I unto you.Let not ur heart be troubled, 

neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27



In this turmoil of a world we live in presently, It is comforting to know God's peace abide with us and He told that we should not let our hearts be troubled; we are bound to have fears, worries, problems e.t.c Why don't we concentrate on God's peace and trade all these things for His peace. May the LORD grant us peace everday of our lives no matter what we go through. Amen! Shalom!

Trust in God

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.


My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth
Psalm 12:1-2

It's okay to rely on people sometimes but it's better to put our trust in God, He is the only one who never fails, never disappoint and His delay is never denial. Trust in Him

Victory

Let not ur heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me.
John 14:1

By worrying about a particular problem, we automatically accept defeat, instead of worrying and being defeated, we only need to remember that Christ has fought all battles and He has won them all, so instead of worrying, we can thank Him and praise Him for victory. We are more than Conquerer in Jesus Christ.

Forgiveness

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any:even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye
Colossians 3:13


Forgiveness is bliss they say, personally I believe it's more bliss for the one who is forgiving than the forgiven, cos staying in un-forgiveness means u carry two hurts, the one by the person who hurt u and ur self inflict hurt by dwelling on the hurt while the other may or may not even carry any hurt, so why hurt urself more, besides God asked us to forgive as we are forgiven, this is def not an easy task but with God all things our possible. Search ur hearts, ask for forgiveness and ask God to help forgive those who have wronged u.
