Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

When you love someone, u tend to wanna please them, either out of respect, affection or just to be accepted or even to get them to love u back.
We don't have to please God 'cos we wanna be loved back, The Bible says He loved us first, and has chosen us, not the other way around. He never changes so also His love endures forever.
But we should keep His commandments and statutes out of respect and we shouldn't feel compelled to do this, it should be done out of love. More than we doing them, God sees our hearts and intentions while doing them. So what are our intentions?

ReplyDeletemy intentions are never to take GOD for granted, never withhold HIS blessings , always ready to spread HIS unending LOVE to everyone that comes my way, and also to learn more about HIS will and purpose for my life at every opportunity, HIS intentions towards me are not for evil but to lead me to my expected end so l know all shall be well, know that my tomorrow is settled , what about you?

my intentions are to please God always, whether He blesses me or not, even when I can't c His hands, I'm always rest assured He is there for me and no matter what distressful situations I'm in or how bad things are just knowing He will never leave me gives me perfect peace.
