One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may
dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty
of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
Psalm 27:4
I love that chorus that says:
Better is 1 day in your house
Better is 1 day in your court
Than a 1000 elsewhere.
Seeking God's face just cos we want to be in His presence is the key to dwelling in His house. Also the psalmist said all the days of his life and not some days, similarly it should be a daily thing for us and not sm thing we do part time.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and you shall dwell in His House forever.
